Net Weight Fillers
Fillers that weigh each container during filling for weight-based accuracy.
Net weight fillers place each container on a load cell and stop the fill when the target weight is reached. They are preferred where product is sold by weight, for high-value products, and for large containers such as pails and drums where volumetric methods are less practical.
How it works
Net weight fillers dispense product directly onto a scale positioned under the fill head, adding product until the target weight is reached rather than measuring volume. This approach compensates automatically for density variation between batches. It is common where fill accuracy by weight is more meaningful than by volume.
